Deft is a self-hostable AGPL-3.0 workspace where humans and AI agents share chat, tasks, knowledge, calendar and approvals. Agents (Defty and Agent Employees) use native tools or MCP to read context and propose governed writes with receipts. Docker-deployed alpha; works without an AI key.
